My great uncle, Elmer "Dutch" Johnston, was an official photographer in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. After his death I received a scrapbook album filled with photographs he took during his tenure in the Pacific theatre. Below are thumbnails of these photographs. Move your mouse over the photograph to see descriptions. Click the thumbnail to see the full photograph. Click the "Back" option to see the back of the photograph where my Uncle wrote notes in some cases.
