Make room for every number. ✕ Divide the whole grid into rectangles. Each rectangle holds exactly one number, and its area equals that number. Rectangles cannot overlap or leave gaps.
A 6 can take four shapes All four examples below have six cells. Dimensions are rows × columns. A shape is allowed only where it fits the puzzle and contains no other clue.
Draw your first rectangle Drag from one corner cell to the opposite corner. Or tap one corner, then tap the other. A dashed preview shows the proposed shape, dimensions, and area. Tap a placed rectangle to select it, then use Delete selected to remove it.
Squares and one-cell-wide rectangles count too. For a clue of 1, tap its cell twice or use Enter twice.
Use a little help Check shows uncovered cells with diagonal stripes. It checks the rules without revealing the solution. Hint uses the unique solution: it adds one rectangle, or marks conflicting placements for you to remove. Hints never erase your work.
Keyboard: focus the board, move with arrow keys, and press Enter at each corner. Escape cancels. Space selects a placed rectangle; Delete removes it. Undo and Redo also have buttons below the board.
