The only expression she has is love, My furry angel from Heaven above. My daughter Beth named her Dax, Her desire for love, she never lacks. Her affection is unconditionally strong, In her eyes, I can do no wrong. She loves to lay in the crook of my arm, Knowing the impossibility of feeling harm. She doesn’t like for me to jostle her, But all she does is increase her purr. Sometimes she sleeps on my chest all night, Not being able to move is my only plight. In case you haven’t figured, Dax is my cat, With tons of fur, and just a little fat. Her heart is pure, she never lies, As she melts my heart with her soulful eyes.
