THE CLASSIC CONNECTION GAME

How to play

Take turns dropping one disc into any open column. It settles into the lowest empty space. Connect four or more of your discs horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to win. A full board without a winner is a draw.

Controls: Tap or click a column. On a keyboard, use ← and → to aim, then Enter or Space to drop. Tab also reaches each column.

Solo: Easy plays forgiving, random moves. Medium sees wins, blocks, and short threats. Hard searches ahead with alpha-beta pruning. The computer thinks away from the interface when Web Workers are available.

Two players: Share the same screen and alternate turns. Your names and disc colors appear beside the board.

Online: Create a room and share its code or invitation link. The other player selects online mode and joins. Keep this browser’s saved room information to reconnect. Both players must request a rematch. The starter alternates for every rematch.

Session totals show wins, losses, and draws. New Game starts a fresh session. Leaving an active game requires confirmation.
