A sticky spot
At ! spaces, keep drawing one card each turn but stay until you draw the escape color: yellow at Gooey Gumdrops, blue at Lollipop Woods, red at Molasses Swamp. Picture cards cannot free you.
Edition, board and credits
Based on Milton Bradley’s 1984 Candy Land rule sheet, product 4700E, published by Hasbro. This original illustrated route has 134 spaces, six pink destinations, two shortcuts, three color-release traps, and a final purple space. It is a newly arranged board, not a reproduction of the commercial board.
64 cards: 8 singles each of red, purple, yellow and blue; 7 singles each of green and orange; 2 doubles of every color; 6 different picture cards. Shuffling uses Fisher–Yates. Deck recycling and automatic shortcut use are documented implementation conventions where the sheet is silent or optional.
